All mothers, whether they have fur, feathers, scales or skin, deserve to be looked after on Mother’s Day.

Like Kiara who was separated from her cubs by a circus in Peru, before we reunited them. Kiara is pictured above, left, with her now adult offspring.

Kiara was one of the lucky ones. Millions of animal mothers aren’t.

Every year, countless infants are torn away from their mothers to be exploited or to die in the dairy, meat, tourist, science and entertainment industries. Their mothers will never have meaningful interactions with their offspring. Will never be able to protect, nurture and nuzzle them.
